Dave and I were at the show tonight and it was fantastic !! He must have done 30 songs and the only one's he didn't play were 'Candle in the wind' and 'Good bye yellow brick road' .. encores were Crocodile Rock and Your Song. The show was 2 1/2 hours and it is truly amazing to see this guy play piano in person. Just before the first encore he signed autographs for the people in the fronts rows (see what having lot's of money buys you? lol) and I thought it was nice that he took the time to do that :) E.J is also playing the AAC Wed and if anyone on here is going your in for a great time :tti:

Sounds like you and Dave had a great time Lee Anne, a memorable occasion to say the least. Although I've never seen him live, EJ does put on quite the show.
damn. I wanted to see that show. Glad it was good.

I've never seen him live before either but I have the Billy Joel Elton John 2 Faces on DVD, quite the show it was, was kinda weird seeing Liberty Devitto playing Elton songs! :ibi:
I've never been a big fan of Elton John, but I respect his contribution to music as well as his many charitable endeavours.
I think the only song of his I truly liked was "Love Lies Bleeding". That tune rocks :)
Love Lies Bleeding, definitely one of the great ones. Was even better when I saw him do it live (dating myself here) back in the Yellow Brick Road days at the Gardens :bsu:
Yes really, I saw the Yellow Brick Road tour...
tumbleweed connection gets a weekly spin minimum. Awesome sounding record.

Oh my. Liberace fans also?
lol. Sit down and listen to tumbleweed connection, and then just try to make a connection to Liberace without me spitting my coffee out laughing too hard.
:)
Perhaps ask Mick Ronsen to play that wicked solo on a Liberace record...
