Last night I watched the tv movie based on the true story of the horrible beating and murder of a young gay man, i had already read about this but to actually see it on tv was just unreal. Sad to knwo there are still bigots out there. I know as gay person myself I have experienced some hardships but man this was just plain evil what they did to him. To pretend to be gay , to lure him in thier web and then torture him.

I don't believe I have heard that story......what was the name of the book/movie? Where did this event take place?

He was 21 years old and he was murdered in lavamine Wyoing, shortly after they created a Foundation in his memory . He was a beautiful person inside and out.

a small bit of justice here is a crime that was motavated by gay hate leads to the two who did it now being some very nasty persons girlfriends.

some people always find excuses to hurt each other.

like the leader of that chruch who protested at matthews funeral (gays are the most violent people in the world)..what planet is he living on?

debbie the name of the movie is called The Mathew Sheppard Movie (2002) made for TV, Henderson and Aaron Mckinny are both serving 2 consecutive life setences, although they are trying to appeal even today. Intially the parents wanted the death penalty.

Of course its sad that there are still bigots out there, but all we can do is educate and hope that they understand that homosexuality is not a choice, its not learned or taught.
