Some game design students at George Brown College have created a mod for Half-Life 2 that models Toronto under the Combine to a very high detail. Apparently, they took thousands of photos to get the textures right and it is fairly accurate. Includes landmarks like the Eaton Centre, Mel Lastman Square, St. Michael's Hospital, etc. The download is free.

hmm, I didn't see the Roger's centre or the CN Tower

What have the combine done with the CN tower? (a communication tower in core of Toronto) Was it destroyed or rebuilt? Did the CN tower serve a purpose during the alien invasion? Is there a rebel force in Toronto, and who will lead them?..

Wow it looks completely outdated compared to the recent games like Crysis unless they took the screenshots on a P3 with Geforce 2mx or something.

Wow, that looks pretty cool. A virtual (HL2-ified) Toronto. Looks like they're still working on it and have the second half of the city to go. I'm quite interested in seeing where this goes. I now have something other than Black Mesa: Source (http://www.blackmesasource.com/) to look forward to in terms of HL2 mods. :)

Pretty much the run and shoot of the original game with a few "familiar" streetscapes.
