I just got my first MP3 Player it is a Sansa 270. It comes with a usb cable to charge the battery. Is there a cable I can buy that will allow me to plug it into the wall to charge? Is there anything I should know about this unit? Any advice of what to do before I open it would be great.

You should also be able to use a USB hub which has its own power adaptor. They can be had cheap, and while being able to charge any USB powered devices can also work as a hub when you're near your PC.
I haven't tried this myself, but doesn't it make sense?

This would be my recommendation.

The links Number6 posted will work quite well also.

While in theory that could work, it would just be too many things to carry around. Especially if you travel.

What would you rather bring with you on a trip? a Hub + Power cord and adapter.

or the product from the link I posted. I'm sure many people would favour my choice.
