hey,

so have 2 harddrives, c: which was fat32 and my d: which is fat32 . I converted my c drive to ntfs because i was told it is more secure, anyways i converted it, formatted it and reinstalled windows. Now everythings fine wit the computer, the only problem im havin is when i go to open my d drive there is a huge delay when i click on a folder or file, and sumtimes it doesnt respond at all! do i need to convert that drive too, or is it somethin that can be fixed??

likely because of the change.

simple fix is to just change it over.

you can do this by going to Run and copy and past this 'convert d:/ntfs /fs'

after restart it will change over the drive and all data on it without any loss.

another method that does the same thing.

Scary thought!
The data is not affected, it is the file format that is changed. No files or data are changed.
