MSO Cache. What is it?

I have a folder named MSO cache. Is it safe to delete the contents of this folder as it seems to take up quite a bit of space on the harddrive. Please advise.

it's the folder for the microsoft office installation files , it is safe to delete but if you need to install any thing inside word or somethign you will have to use your cd

Thanks Nightwolf...I have the cd so I dont really need these to be there taking up space.
