I need help in finding the right components to put in a new computer, which would be a gaming machine.

P 4 64 bit 650 3.4 ghz......(EM64T Processor)
Dual core processor
Socket 775
Super quiet fan
I will need a board that will handle
4 conventinal PCI
2 PCI-E x1 and one PCI-e x16 slots
Maybe D945 or D955 series
Asus board preferred...intel could do.
DDR2 SDRAM
PCI- e Graphic card that would be (ATI preferred)
A good case that would get would get rid of heat buildup

Thanking you in advance.

I would recommend a AMD64 system if you are doing any sort of gaming.
I wouldn't touch an Intel with a 10 foot pole. Underperforming, high temperature and unstable is the words to describe Prescott CPUs.
For any decent gaming performance, minimum I would recommend is 6600GT.
6800GT or X800 for higher performance.
