I have a partially used can of latex primer from last year that I'm using...it has thickened a bit due to exposure to the air...anyway to thin it just a touch, not much, just a bit...

Seeing that latex paint is water based, simply add some water to it to thin it. Do just a little at a time though. You dont want it too thin or you risk splattering everywhere.

I just Googled it... I saw where they said you can add UP TO 4oz per Gallon

So depending on just how much primer you have left as to how much you can add

Just remember to stir it very well... or get one of those paint stirers that attaches to your electric drill ;)

Acrylic latex is another story. Is that what you in fact have or just your basic latex primer?

Just checked the can...Para Superstick 100% Acrylic primer...no instructions on can as to how to thin it...(unless covered with paint)...Rule 1 always read the instructions...

Covering partly used cans of paint with Cling Free (floated on the paint) can reduce evaporation or skinning. This helps with latex, acrylic or oil paints.

Works fine in Netscape 7.2 and 8 Browser....
It's DHTML coolFrameMenus... which should work in FF :rrg:

You can add water to latex acrylic paint to thin it, according to the label on my can of Behr paint. It is necessary if you want to spray it.
