Police seized computers and electronic storage equipment after executing a search warrant at a Port Coquitlam home rented by Joshua Trousdale, the man behind an elaborate Internet operation that claims to have taken orders for 12,000 iPhones.
Two people arrested by RCMP in connection with the search warrant were released yesterday without charge.
RCMP Cpl. Brenda Gresiuk said the investigation into iPhoneNow.ca is ongoing, and consumers should report any concerns about the company to the police.

"If you feel you have been a victim of a fraud relating to iPhoneNow.ca, call the Canadian anti-fraud call centre [Phonebusters] at 888-495-8501 or report online with www.recol.ca or contact Const. Linda Barrett of the Coquitlam RCMP fraud unit at 604-945-1488," Gresiuk said.
iPhoneNow.ca is linked to Trousdale, who was convicted of fraud in New Brunswick under his earlier name Scott Byers for a similar scheme involving PlayStation2 orders.
The search warrant came in the wake of a police investigation into complaints by consumers who say they paid hundreds of dollars for iPhones that never arrived.
