I need a couple of more USB ports in my PowerMac G5. I know that I can use a USB hub but my question is will any PCI USB card work in the G5. I can't really think of any reason why it wouldn't but I'm just asking because I know that you need a special video card for Apple machines.
Thanks in advance.

Er... it SHOULD work. But, check wither at the maker's website, or search for a driver at versiontracker.com just to be sure.

Yes they will work Fine, just be carful with the box's that say "os9 and above" this is missleading, since the drivers are totally different from os9 to os10 you can't really tell unless it has that nice big blue OSX logo on the box, or it says it's compatible,
even tho your running on the New PCI-X Slots you can still use any regular (33mhz) PCI card
for all the little questions go here

Warning: Do not use PCI cards that function only at 66 MHz in the 33 MHz PCI slots. Damage to your equipment could result. If you have a 66 MHz PCI card, check with the card's manufacturer to see if it also works at 33 MHz.
