Now that we've exceeded tha $1/litre psychological price barrier for gas, why do gas stations still continue to display the decimal point? We all know it's .9. I guess funny pricing practices never die. And by the way be prepared for extreme price fluctuations now that we have overcome the $1 price point.

Im not laughing.

But yeah the hike to 1 buck 30 was just to get us to accept the dollar to 1.10 range.

The .9 is still there because stations still compete. shell might be 102.9 and petro will change to 102.8 just to get a little more buisness.

A tenth of a cent on 90 litres would save me 9 cents. Not worth the hassle. Now 10cents a litre is another story.:)


Our price was approx .99/l yesterday, crude prices dropped but our prices rose to 1.07 today. Now that's funny pricing and not the haha kind.
