"The School's first 56 undergraduate class members arrived on their respective campuses ten days ago, and have already begun their studies which will be undertaken in a wide variety of community and health science settings across Northern Ontario."
Fantastic! :tti:
Best of luck the new students at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.

What should also be done is take the Ontario College of Physicians to task and fast-track the many skilled immigrnants who could start working in this field immediately.

The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada also plays a huge role. Not all countries have submitted information for assessment to ensure the training received meets Canadian criteria. And then it breaks down to the provincial level.

I assisted a friend in navigating the bureaucracy 18 months ago and it was quite cumbersome at that time.
