Wow, I am really getting into this game, however I encountered an area that I just can not seem to pass and I am on easy level. The part where those bats like creatures swarm you from above in the dark, they say shoot all the tanks, we need light ( I assumed I could use the morning liight gun thingy) but doesnt seem to work. I turn right and think I am about free of them when they swarm all over me and kill me. I am sure many people have played this game and could give me suggestions. Thanks
youre just missing a tank. A couple of the mare hard to see, you might have to run into the dark to get a good angle on a tank and shoot it before the bats get to you.

Going to have to buy it when it gets a bit cheaper. The gamespot (http://us.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/gearsofwar/review.html)review looks good!

Does this game only work on Vista or is it XP also? I remember hearing it would only be Vista but I could be thinking of something else

What I do not get and thanks by the way Law....It worked. Is that according to gamespot reviews, they say that this is the version to get if you have the system to turn on all the eye candy ect but yet gave it a very good rating of 90%, but then the 360 version got 96%. Anyone here play them on both platforms and if so which version did you like best?

I've played both versions... the eye candy is great and is a little better looking than the console version. However, GOW has been out for a while now for the 360... gamespot probably was totally blown away when it was first released, which is why it got a 96. When the PC version came out, the "WOW" factor may have faded a little so it got a bit of a lower score. I like both versions alot, but in the end I play GOW on the 360 more than on the PC. Also, in order to see GOW for PC in all it's high res 1900x1200 or higher glory with all effects on, you'd need a pretty pricey PC, which for most users out there may be out of reach for them.

agreed played both..i like the console version better..maybe because of the surround sound, bigger screen and controls..both are a must have and looking forward to the second one in nov....
I love the 360 version but wouldnt mind playign the PC version for the new content. Cant wait for the sequel though.
