During the last sitting of Parliament, near the end of March, Peter MacKay took up jogging regularly to relieve the stresses of life.

One evening, he happened to jog past a hooker who shouted out "One hundred dollars!"

"No! Twenty dollars!" he fired back in a light-hearted manner.

This ritual between Peter and the hooker became a daily occurrence.

He'd run by and she'd yell, "One hundred dollars!" He'd yell back, "Twenty dollars!" and they'd both have a good chuckle over it.

One day, Belinda Stronach decided that she wanted to accompany her partner on his daily jog.

As the jogging couple neared the working woman's street corner, Peter realized she'd bark her $100 offer and Belinda would no doubt wonder what he'd really been doing on all his past outings.

He knew he'd likely not be able to offer a good explanation to the 'Boss'.

As they jogged into the turn that would take them past the corner, Peter became even more apprehensive than usual.

Sure enough, there was the hooker. Peter tried to avoid the prostitute's eyes as she watched the pair jog past. He felt very relieved when they had both passed the hooker without her usual comment.

Then, as they jogged further down the street, the hooker yelled, "See what you get for 20 bucks!"
