x800 pro To x800xt

i was reading some where u could turn your x800 pro into an xt by flashing the bios. all the site i see though say it has to be the vivo x800 pro is there a way to do it with the none vivo?

No idea, but also keep in mind you run the risk of creating an expensive piece of circuit board if it didn't work....................

Yes also you must make certain that your core can run stably at the speed of an X800XT. Im not sure how it is done on the X800 series but I converted my 9550 to a 9600 through this method and it worked great (but I got a 9600XT because I wasnt fully happy with the memory speed). I believe that that x800 VIVO is 12 pipelines and the x800xt is 16 pipelines so you may or may not get an error-free video card after the mod... but you could always flash back...
