A lotus flower. I was afraid it would get cold too fast and kill it but it looks like it's tougher than we thought.

Nice, but somewhat odd looking flower... Does it last long?

It's on day three now and it's starting to wane. I think the heavy rain got to it. Next year there should be more and larger flowers, this was the first year and the plant had to work hard to produce what it did and grow a good root system.
