I was at bestbyte last night as my friends OCZ power supply 850 blew, he got it 4 months ago lol. Anyways, I picked up the Razer mouse 1600 DPI and my oh my , the comfort of this mouse, everything , even the cool blue transparant light is the best mouse I have ever used. I am new to RAZER products and I def am enjoying this. I got tired from having to switch batteries all the time in my cordless G7. This is hands down better! To any gamer out there debating about a razer mouse trust me its worth it!

I used to use Razor mice... good build and quality. Can't go wrong with them.

About 4 month ago it was listed at 69.99 plus Tax. But it was 49.99 plus taxes, so came to 56 bucks. Wel worth it though. It got like 9 awards for this thing. Again mine is the 1600 DPI, 6400 FPS megapixels ps is 5.8, has a 7 foot cord, extra large coated buttons and rubber side rails for improved grip..

I recently tried the Microsoft Habu (razor) mouse and it was ok but I found the software kinda crappy. The stupid thing lasted less than a week before the mouse pointer (optical eye thingie) stopped working.

I returned to the tried and true Microsoft Explorer 3 mouse (corded).

I find the cordless mice are crappy for gaming.

Yup coredless mouses are indeed crappy. If you are a pretty harcore gamer or game a lot the technology just isnt there yet. I hated changing batteries in the middle of COD 4. I would get killed about 2 times doing the mad rush. My gaming has improved with this new mouse. The Razer software was okay for me. I can not say enough good thinsg about this Razer Diamonback mouse. Not bashing logitec, they make excellent stuff too but I would personally not use one for gaming. Other things yes but not gaming!
