Nope, Saw it in the stores though and thought about it for when i beat some of the other games i have recently got for PC.
How is it?

Hard to crack...I am enjoying it ....I love these kinds of games!
Cool, I love those games too. Though I picked up a game called Hellgate London earlier today from EB games. They were selling the colelctors edition for 9.99. futureshop is selling the same thing for 59.99.
So far the game is really fun. supposed to be the next diablo. Fun hack and slash game so far.

Thats the art on the CE. IT looks great and the box it comes in is bigger than regular cases. Its about as big as the GTA 4 CE box. comes with a comic, map, soundtrack and some exclusive in game pet.
I will try the multip[layer later this week.

What I dont like about it is the premium membership thing they have. where you can pay a fee and get more content and acheivements. That pisses me off. I was hoping that this game would show up on my LIVE account and i can get acheivements for it but i dont want to pay extra to get them.

ACtually it isnt MS , it's EA. With other "games for windows" games , if you have a LIVE account then you can play cross platform and have the PC achievements register on your LIVE account. like halo 2 , gears of war , and devil may cry 4.
THis is the doing of either EA, or flagship studios.

Yeah , i have a love\hate for EA. I love command and conquer 3 but i cant run it on my PC when i have certain cd burning software on my PC.
I like hellgate but the pay for the higher membership pisses me off.
I also hate that for 360 games like their need for speed carbon and pro street, they make you pay to unlock content that is already on the game disk.
I personally stayed away from those games just for that reason.
Also while EA does have some really good games, they also have some complete crap.

Agreed, I think EA **** a bit too ****y for thier own good and have declined somehwta, but then again I think games in general have to a point, I mean some of the older games have well ***** to them , today its all about what game can push your system to the limit example crysis , ect and graphics. Not to say there are not some very good games today , but I really do love the older ones.
I really think that games are really shallow for the most part these days.
The thing is, lots of great games still come out its just that those games dont get any hype whatsoever.
Like your sherlock holmes game. I think me , you and a handful of others know about it and actively seek it out while everyone else clamors for what the media hypes up as the greatest games ever. Such as gta 4 , CoD 4, Dark sector and anything else.
Though I also blame gamers. gamers today dont like challenges, puzzles or having to pay attention to an intricate story. They want good graphics, easy gameplay and a story that consists of " hes bad so you have to kill him" oh and dont forget that many people dont care for a good single player game anymore , they just want to run around on their one favourite map and shoot other players again and again, for no purpose at all other than having their score go up.

Agreed Law, you make some excellent points about games today. Yes I think many go under the radar and it isn't fair to the people who designed the game but I guess it is all about the hype today and scores. I mean yes COD 4 is great but one of the exceptions in my view. I don't mind being shallow from time to time with games but certainly not for very long or on a regualr basis, I like challenging games. Also a big fan of Holms books. But then again, mabye the games that we enjoy and a few others in here have an appeal because they are not overhyped, they dont need to be. they are plenty good on thier own merits without needing to expolit the media to promte the games.

Sure, it is made by "The Adventure Company", Gamespot wasn't very generous with this review online yet it won of the Best 2007 Awards ...go figure lol ...Here is a link to other great games that they have....including this one

It is a bit confusing because they say vs Lupin but it is Nemesis. I evertually want to get the complete collection of his games. You can download a demo of the game.
The Adventure Company also did The Experiment, which i cant play because when it starts up its just a black screen with sound.
apparently im not the only one with this issue though. hope a patch comes out soon.

Oh I have not heard of that one! One worth checking out once they get a patch for. But i have a lot of games still to play.
I picked it up because i like how different it looks. YOu are in a room with monitors and there is a woman that does the work but you guide her and you also use a computer to look at clues and information and you get camera upgrades for night vision and so on.
Just seems like a cool change

Very Cool! I like different games as well. Don't laugh but sometimes I have even played Nancy Dre which are targeted more toward 10 year olds lol ! But normally I go for something more challenging, just saying from time to time.

Thanks for the info. I did find that via Google, but I couldn't make out the red text on the box in your avatar so I wasn't sure if it was the right one.
I'll check it out this weekend. I haven't played a good mystery or puzzle game in a long time.
