Waiting is worth it!

This looks like a game I may want to explore and I am very happy to hear that the wait for it migrating to the PC platform is worth the wait ...as Mass Effect was and Gears of war! Despite the ongoing debate between consoles and PC's, and the decline or so called death of the PC, these are great days being a PC Gamer....

I might buy that if i get a better PC and its a 30 dollar game because while DMC 4 was good, it has a lot of cons as well such as dumb AI , backtracking and not a very deep combo system.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is far superior and makes DMC 4 feel worse than it actually is.

Oooh i cant wait till i buy a new PC though. Ill be asking phenom and compy for advice when i decide i want one.

Law, sometimes you make me so bloody mad lol and other times you make me laugh so hard, overall its all good. The comment about asking advice on pc stuff between me and compy was hilarious but it put a smile on my face. I needed that because right now I am suffering from some pretty bad back pain, hopefully the Naproxen works! But hey not to get way off topic, good stuff with getting a new pc. I always get excited about that stuff even if the pc isnt for me. You know which CPU's and GPU's I will be advising and POWER SUPPLY's lol heh. Law, I have been also playing Overclocked and I quite enjoy it. If you do not mind depressing ect and a black mood, ist def worth checking out. I remeber that was one that you mentioned. Gamespot gave it a 75% which i can agree with.

OVerclocked is next on my list along with that sherlock game and next life. I have too many to play right now though.

Oh come to think of it, if you are able to get your hands on a copy or have one alreayd i think youd love phantasmagoria. It is a calssic and just like these otehr games we talk about. Its a point and click adventure and its probably the best one i have ever played so far.

Law, I wrote it down. I am liek you way too many to play still and of late have not been gaming as much i need a better chair ....But I def will try to get that game. Point and click rocks.... I don't mind using a keyboard but sometimes the games require you to use a lot. Thuis why many opt for consoles because they are not as complicated in terms of the controls.

I actually liked that PC games had alot more controls. I loved sim games like x wing and mechwarrior that had controls for everything from which way you want your sahields focused to using tractor beams, switching rate of fire, wing positions, wingman orders, i loved it. havent seen anything close to that complexity in ages.

lol true....Law, do you , just curious , have the Nintendo Wii? I actually quite like it. I got it actually to help lose weight. I at some point want to get that Wii Fit thing...I know talking about consoles in the PC section lol .

Nope, I have no interest in a Wii. No games that i care to play and it doesnt look like a system that would be fun to play alone for too long.

I have more than enough with a PC and the 360.

a friend recently got a 360 with the new smaller chip 65nm as opposed to the 90nm and so far has been very good. Mabye that is what the issue was. I actually played a bit on his 360 day.

I haven't had time to turn my 360 on in a while as I'm in the middle of building 5 PC's for people (brutal!!!). 4 Intel rigs, and 1 AMD Phenom Black rig. I don't know what I got myself into :( . Anyhoo, for sure if you have any questions feel free to PM me, or check me on Live (if and when I'm on).

BTW, did you get the custom Ryu costumes???

Thnx Phenom... he's actually going to be going with his old 8800Ultra right now. We're both waiting to see how the newer AMD/ATI and NVIDIA GPU's fair. Look for another "Oh No!!! Compy Did it Again" thread in the next month - pics included!!!! Could compy go Crossfire once more??? Only time will tell!!! LOL!!!

For sure!!! Let me tell you, I'm liking those 4870 X2's right now... just waiting to see what the official reviews are on performance with those vs. the GTX 280's. So far the 4870 X2's are proving to be the winner, although the numbers are too early to lock in stone, as the tests are done on early alpha builds of the gpu's. We'll know for sure in the next month or two. Keep an eye out in the overclocking forums to see if there's any change to compyspecs!!!!

Yes they look pretty nice. I may be tempted to get those myself but I really can not at this moment. My money has to go into a better chair. But in 7 months or so I will upgrade. Compy, I am sure you will love those crossfire cards , they have come along way then when they were first introduced in 2005 with that external toggle thingy.

Hi Compy, I absolutely love Ninja gaiden 2. The first was my favourite game last gen and right now this is my favourite game this gen. I did get the preorder costumes. Its just one costume but with 5 colours. It looks sick!

The costume will be donwloadable after july something. I am only on chapter 4 , stuck at the trial of valor on that level , its brutal, i have no health potions.

As for the PC, it wont be right away, probably a nother couple months or so, i just bought a new car and need to pay for laser eye surgery and maybe even a trip to greece so.....

I was looking at that one too. Its on my list for sure.
Let me add another for yours. I have mentioned it before but you really should look into Runaway 2. Id say the first one but its probably near impossible to find off of ebay. The secon one can still be found though. They are both fantastic. Look them up online.

Ooh sucks that you dont qualify. As for Greece. i lived there for a few years as a kid, my dad was from there and i was there for a month about tne years ago and am dying to go back and see allmy cousins and aunts and uncles and of course old friends. Not to mention visit the house my dad built in our village.

I'm sure both our games lists will grow if we keep offering suggestions. So many good games out there for PC. I'm having a tough time keeping up with the games i alreayd have but havnt finished.

Agreed Law! It does suck, but thats okay just means i wear glasses or contacts! Thats pretty cool that you lived there ! I would not mind going back myself someday! Very nice people there and I remeber getting lost there but a nice older couple helped me and they really could not speak English! The only thing that saved me was i remebered the building that I needed to be at and then they knew! As far as the game collection goes , I hear you. I recently had to by more shelf space for them all.

Space isnt too big an issue for me especially now that most game boxes are small comapred to what they used to look like but also i just put the boxes in the crawl space in the basement and keep the jewel cases in my room. Where I am losing space though is on my hard drive!

Who would have thought we would need to hard drive space that we do today but we do! Thanks god I have plenty of that! I also have like tons of flash drives. I got one myself then shortly after I kept getting them for birthdays and christmas. I have like 6 of them lol I could wear them all around my neck lol..Pretty amazing what you can get with those things. Yeah Law, she is is! Very easy going but strick! I can't blame her, she doesnt want anyone wasting her time and I tend to rebel sometimes so she puts that into check! It is okay though. As far as the uniforms goes yes not very flattering lol. My nurse just wears street clothes. I have never even seen her wear scrubs but she doesnt work in a hospital setting anymore.

Come to think of it I have hardly ever seen my doctor in a white lab coat! Only when he is in the ER or Urgent care setting! Anyways, lookign forward to coming home later today to just relax after my first day of doing these excersises and swimming...Sometimes I sit here thinking man oh man what game do I play, because I have so many now. I sometimes go in spurts where i consentrate on only one game, sometimes its several.

same here, I sometimes play one only until its done and other times i play many at the same time. Right now im pretty focused on Ninja gaiden 2 but before that i was playing lots of games.
