I will miss him. Started listening to Chum again a couple of years ago and enjoyed the Roger Rick and Marilyn trio in the morning.
Seems as if Rogers is slowly cleaning house.

Haven't listened to them in years, not since Derringer came back to Q. I hate the music mix on CHUMFM, although I listened to it for years. I did enjoy Hodge's sports reports.

I've listened to "Roger, Rick and Marilyn" for years up until about a year ago. I prefer tuning in to 680 News now, and listen to my own tunes.
Rick was great and will be missed.
P.S: BillD - For some reason, you never struck me as a Q head-banger music type lol :d
Used to listen to them back in the 80's when teir music was rock. Switched to Q107. Now only listen to satellite with no commercials in the music.

LOL. Classic rock is hardly head banger music. Grew up with the great rock bands of the 60s, music that is still garnering new young fans. Any other station I've tried to listen to, I end up switching stations.

I haven't listened to Q in ages. Have they switched to a true "classic rock" format?
They used to play all the "current" garbage before.
One station I liked, out of Hamilton, years ago (forget the name) had an awesome true "classic rock" format. I don't think they are around anymore though :rrg:

Pretty much, the heaviest thing I've heard them play is one song by Guns and Roses, (part of a listeners super set).
They let there sister station "The Edge" play all the new and heavy stuff.
