View Full Version : Who makes the best pizza?
I ordered a "Roast Chicken Club" pizza last night from Panzerotto Pizza and I was quite impressed with it. Crust was perfect, the ingredients were first class and the delivery time excellent.
Other than home-made, who do you think makes the best pizza in your neck of the woods?
P.S: The choices are ones based here in the GTA. There are undoubtedly other chains that make a great pizza but with no locations in the GTA.

Gino's (http://www.ginospizza.ca/). Unquestionably some of the best pizza I've had. The crust is thin but firm, the sauce is just right, and never, ever ask for "extra" of any given topping, because "standard" toppings pretty much fill every square inch of pizza real estate. And the toppings are excellent, by the way.
In London it was Whitehouse pizza but he has been closed for renovations for about a year now, so I'd say Frank and Gus

BBQ Chicken pizza from Mike's. Sadly, there are no Mike's in Ontario... Only in Quebec and New-Brunswick. But man, that's good pizza!! The best I ever had. My wife didn't believe me until we went to NB last summer.
I love Pizza Pizza, it's sooo good.
How good Pizza Pizza is seems to depend on the location. When I lived in the west end, it was terrible (as in barely cooked), but the one around here isn't too bad. :rrg:

I used to hate it oddly enough, but now I love it and so do friends. My parents hate it and think it tastes like cardboard, though.

Maybe their pizza is cooked a bit longer now that they've changed their "30-minutes or free" delivery guarantee to 40 minutes.

I like thick crust with double cheese, pepperoni and green peppers and Cammaras on Dufferin Street is still the best on a consistent basis. Failing this Pizza Hut is as good as anyone.

Pizza Pizza definitely tastes like cardboard. I'll take Pizza the Hut's grease-za anyday.
Are there any non comercial pizza places around Mississauga area?

If I might ask, where is this and what is the name of it? I haven't had a pizza from a family owned place in a long time. Would be worth checking out next time we want pizza. :)

Right on Al, that is the only place that still puts TOPPINGS on their pizza, unlike the crumbs of toppings the others put on!

You should try pizza place near college, and Clinton st. I think it's called Johns pizza or something like that. I know it starts with Johns. Really good pizza.

The pizza places that I tried were Pizza Pizza, Domino's Pizza, Pizza Hut, Little Caesar's and there's one place in Ajax called "Kerry's".
