At times, when one user logs off of a session, windows xp shuts down. The hard drive is still on and pushing reset works windows works on re-boot - no disk checking or messages saying windows has shut down improperly - I thought it was sleep mode but computer doesnt come on with key board or mouse. This is windows xp sp2
any ideas for me?
Thanks

Disabling the “restart on system failure”
Right-click on My Computer, click Properties, click the Advanced tab. Under “Startup & Recovery,” click Settings. Under “System Failure,” uncheck the box in front of “Automatically restart.”
that will give you some clues checbenj
we need to look @ your APM ... when the monitor and drive goes to sleep
