The Net via dial-up

How do I configure Ubuntu 8.04 to contact the my ISP via dial-up modem?

I had it set up long, looooong ago (using Ubuntu 7.10)... but now I've forgotten how get things configured. Can anyone help?

Yeah.. it is under admins/network/connections. :)

Download gnome-ppp to help set it up. It should be in the usual repositories so you can try using Synaptic. Perhaps even try "sudo apt-get install gnome-ppp" from the command line.
