Looks like DX10 will be a nice upgrade.

The video is showing Shader Model 4 which wil be supported in the new DirectX 9L. As far as I know, there is no DX10, yet.

Cryengine2 looks so purty.
I love the clouds, and the collision detection...plants move when you walk through them.

Whatever happened to Stalker? Compared to this, Stalker looks like a joke.

Those softshadows are amazing, too bad its the same damn island they're showcasing.

There is a DX 10,though it will probably be called Windows Graphic Foundation 1.0 and comes out with Windows Vista.
