Just finished watching 2 new Eric Clapton dvd's ... well new to me anyway. Back in 1994 Clapton released his then long anticipated blues Cd "From the Cradle" and there was a Tv special that captured a rehearsal in NY. Unfortunately that filming was never officially released to the public. I've been looking for a bootleg copy since then and finally found one. It also includes 5 tracks from a 1998 Christmas Special that includes Sheryl Crow, Tracy Chapman and John Popper and 3 tracks from a 1999 show that includes Lenny Kravitz (All Along The Watchtower) and BB King.

The second dvd is a Martin Scorsese production called
'Nothing But The Blues" from 1994 and again was shown on TV but never released.

Both of these dvd's contain amazing performances and the quality is very good. If you like Clapton you will want these. I got them from the UK ...

If you haven't, you should see Eric blow away the competition in the Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute DVD.

Massively awesome.

Yes that is a good dvd, unfortunately his performance time is too brief.
