I am looking for a single floppy bootdisk for linux.
I want to simply run an old p166 with 64 MB RAM with a single floppy distro of linux.
NO hard drive.
I would like to telnet to the p166 linux box and do simple commands as follows:
WHOIS
DIG
HOST
NSLOOKUP
I don't need anything fancy...just something that works.

I assume you want something to just play with? I mean there is no purpose like a firewall or anything like that right?
Also might want to look at a full LiveCD distro if you want more power.

well....being a web developer...I am always looking for new domains and settings for clients domains (MX records, etc.).
I find that using a CLI such as linux via a telnet session is much faster then opening a browser and doing a lookup.
So yes, I don't need any power house...in fact, I would like to have it all on a floppy drive (if possible) so I can boot it on an old p166 that i have sitting around. My mind concern is that I want to telnet in and use the mentioned commands.
