I saw this in another forum, and i decided to give it a go... Picked up 2 6x1cm fans (was gonna use my amd 64 stock fan, but i only had one, and i have 2 cards), cut the faceplate off my bfg card, and gently screwed them into the heatsink with really thin screws. The faceplate was cut so i can add 70mm fans later on when i get my hands on another amd 64 fan. I wanted to keep the faceplate on for aesthetics, but most of these mods i've seen had no faceplate on. Here are some pics. I'll post some OC results when i get back from a conference.

hey!

Thnx for the compliments!!! my old temps for both cards were in the mid 50's during idle and close to 80's on load... after the mod, both cards idle ~10degrees cooler at 42-44 degrees and under stress they don't break 65 degrees. I haven't had a chance to OC the cards yet (other than the factory OC out of the box), but I'll post some results as soon as i get to it. I've been caught up playing F.E.A.R. and Call of Duty 2. Will post benchies soon!
