my son just got the xbox wireless adapter and it works great the problem is the 2 month free trial password has expired. Is it possible to get a subcription to xbox live without buying the starter kit?

Yah you can buy a game that comes with the free 2 month subscription (not sure if they still do). There was also this australian site that was giving them out you just had to say that you lived there, don't remember the site, and don't know if you can still get the free 2 month trials.

I could've given you a 2 month subscription code but it expired in June.

sometimes if you call 1800 4myxbox and say you want to try xbox live but the card has expired.they'll give you a new code.
it only works once though.
