half life 2 - 64bit

hi all

just got a 64bit system... on my prior system - 32bit... half life 2 - worked fine / but now unable to get it working on my new system. granted the new system is vista & 64 bit - from my 'brief' research i can not see that making a difference. my new system has superior video card...etc.. then my older system..so an unable to determine the problem ... thoughts ?

btw - when i goto task manger - it says "half life 2" - not responding

Try adding -32 to the launch options. It will force the HL2.exe to load in 32bit instead of 64 bit.
