Didn't get to this one but tried to win tickets on Q107, did see the Stones at the Dome during the Voodoo lounge tour, great show but I think the Dome causes too much echo imo or at least it does if you sit in the crap seats lol

I was pretty close just to the left of the stage. It was still echo-ey. I'm no fan of the dome for concerts.

For mega concerts the Skydome is the place for sound that truly sucks. IMO the Molson Amphitheater is even worse plus it is so damp you can grow mold on your body by the end of the show. Nice design, if it only worked.
Of course you don't go to one of these large concert venues and expect good sound.

The ACC has amazing sound, have seen a few concerts there and have had no complaints at all, Casino Rama also has fantastic sound but I do agree about the Amp also, not so good =\

Best acoustics can be found at Massey Hall.

Only problem is that it's a small venue and the Stones would have to do 30 gigs just to accomodate all their fans.

I haven't been to Massey Hall since the 80's, seen David Sylvian and was up top, view was not so great but yes the sound was very good.

I've seen a lot of great acts at Massey Hall over many years. A few that come to mind:

- Gordon Lightfoot (many times)
- The late Rory Gallagher (with Mahogany Rush as the opening act)
- The late Roy Buchanan
- Rush (very early in their career)
- Crowbar (anyone remember them?) :d
- Lighthouse
- Jeff Beck (twice)
- James Gang

...just to name a few.

Yes somewhere around there, I have a friend in Quebec who was totally nuts over this guy and she was pissed because I seen him first, he played Montreal the night after .. lol. My seats for that show were so bad that I didn't even realize he was on stage for like 15 minutes, couldn't hardly see anything :(

My favourite song the stones played was Out of Control. Man, was it ever amazing live, I loved the muted trumpet in it. It was a million times better live then the album version.
