This is just out of curiousity but you can't become a seal if you have a speech impediment right?
What about if you've been to court while in the navy or whatever?
This is not about me but about a kid on my clan's forums that said his bro was killed in Iraq but there's no info found about this one so we're questioning it.
Thoughts?

No SEALs have been reported killed in Iraq.
Ask the kid what base his brother was stationed out of.
There are 2 in the U.S. One is in California and the other is in Virginia.
He should also know what Team # his brother belonged to. There are generally considered to be 6

He said his bro was in the army & killed on the 28th of june was about to come back to the states.
But he has said he was in training for being a SEAL but was wonderong if you could have a speech impediment & been to court for something that happened while in the army.

not sure about the speech issue, but a SEAL or any other special forces soldier must be able to follow orders to a T in order for his Team to operate smoothly. As far as his court appearance while in the Army goes I guess it would depend on what the charge was and if he was convicted. But I do have one question how does an Army soldier train to be a NAVY SEAL ?

Is there a link that would give me more info on what a SEAL needs to be or do?

Ok just an update, 2 poeple in my clan that know people in iraq asked about this kids bro & the name has never been heard of. The name in question is Jimmy D. Corlone.
I have looked at a few lists of reported cassualties & no Jimmy.
Are there any other lists?
If this guy truely is bsing us, that is just pathetic!

There is a very strong likelyhood this guy's story is fake.
1> Apparently not on any casualty lists
2> The person in question may have been 'in training' for something but only Navy personnel can attend Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training (BUD/S).
If the guy is lying it's not uncommon. It's been said that for every authentic SEAL there are approximately 300 people who pretend to be one.

Well there were a bunch of SEALs killed in Afghanistan. None of them had the name Corlone though. A quick glance at the DOD list of fatalities in Iraq shows no one with the name Corlone either.

I just found out that he's said he is with the military police.
So he couldn't train to be a SEAL.
