Palm Zire 72

Hello i have a brand new palm zire 72. I installed all the programs and drivers with it. I used to be able to install games and music on it but now all of a sudden palm wont let me. Ive tried reinstalling the program and reformating the palm but it just wont let me install anything to the sd card using the palm softwear..if any1 has an idea on where i can get a different program or how to fix this problem then please help!!.

for music have you tried simply copy and pasting the files from your music folder to the SD CARD folder on the palm. all acessible from My Computer when the device is plugged in.

A few questions, first.

1) Is the file a PRC or PDB file? When you double-click on one or the other is Windows properly associating them with the Palm installer?

2) Are you using the ordinary Palm Desktop software, double-clicking the file(s) to load them into the Quick Install pane and dragging them over to the "Install to Card" pane?

3) If you are not using the Palm Desktop software, are you using a third-party virtual drive mode program such as Softick CardExport or the virtual drive mode inside a program such as Pocket Tunes? If so, is it able to connect to the PC?

4) Are you able to hotsync normally to main memory (not to card)? Are any messages produced at the end of the hotsync?

5) Are you able to format the SD card okay? Is the write-protect switch flipped on the card?
