Hey there, i was working on an assignment today, and i came across to this question: example of a chart, table, or graph that provides an erroneous,
misleading, or inappropriate presentation of quantitative information. But i have been searching for like hours, and still have no clue what's a good example. can anyone please help me out and give me a hand please?

I would think that the conclusion is erroneous as opposed to the chart itsef or it could be the labeling of the chart as opposed to info aquired for the chart. Along the lines of researchers using part of the information gleamed that only supports what they want. jmo

A chart or a graph, showing misleading information is fairly easy to provide.
Example:
A chart showing rows and columns can be manipulated for a positive or negative appearance. All facts are true, but presented differently.
Same facts, but which one would you present to your shareholders if you were the head of a failing company?

Or take Bogie's idea and use 2 different types of charts. One that makes the true meaning apparent vs one that obscures it.
