360 controller for Grid on the PC issue

I have it working etc but there's a steering issue.
I am using Grid's preset controls that it creates when there's a controller detected.
The left stick is used for steering but it seems to "fail" when trying to turn right at times.
It's only when I try to turn right.
It's a wireless controller with the trasmitter.

Any ideas?

Is the gamepad calibrated?
