Trip Down memory Lane!!

Just for the heck of it, I decided to play old Call of Duty ( yes the first one) and best one in my opinion, if that counts for anything around here. I am just curious as to how many people here still play this classic and if so which are you? Bolt, Scope or MG? I love using the KAR with Scope myself. I can not see as well as my younger days and need all the help that I can muster up!!

Haven't played in multiplayer for some time now.

Great game overall. Much better than COD 2.

All of the CoD are pretty good but the first one was the best and one of the main reasons was that you could play as the Soviets.

I like all the weapons, but let's face it as far as rifles go the U.S. M1 Garand and M1 Carbine were kick ass.

In terms of reality the Mosin-Nagant, despite it's age, was hands down better then the KAR98 scoped. Reason was mostly because the Soviet scope had a better and easier way of lining up and the type of gun oil/lub was more weather resistant.

I do admire the MP38/40 and MP44 guns, although the Tommy and BARS where legendary in terms of cost the German and Soviet stuff was more practical. Then again the U.S. did come out with the "Grease gun" to cut costs. :)

BTW my granny used to assemble Stens down by CNE grounds during the war. lol
