Well I was slightly impressed with the visuals and how xbox360 was shaping up but these latest vids of some games in motion are just incredible so I thought I'd share them.

I was also reading those articles this morning. Everything looks awesome especially NBA2K6. Guess about 2 months before the xbox 360 comes out??, would love to try some of those games.
The video for the new Afterburner on the 360 looked pretty cool too. Ill look for the vid.

Yea I definatley have to wait but I'm fine with that I'll just rent it every now and then to get my fix.

Saw the oblivion movies and I'm impressed with the trees and landscapes and sstuff and how they are generated in realtime but the animations don't seem next gen. I find animations are a huge factor in pulling off realism more than just good looking models. It aint my kinda game anyways so I'm not really dissapointed :p

i have one question, do any games come out before the console itself? i love that, so i dont have to go to futureshop and spend 1000 dollars in 10 minutes :P

NBA 2k6 looks AMAZING, WOW. I'm so calling in sick on the 22nd....
to reply to IH, I HIGHLY doubt it, they'll be working on games as long as possible...

most companies got the final console in aug so they wana make sure they get every minute/sec/day making sure there games run smoothly on the system..all games stated nov 15 on ebgames will in fact be launch nov 22..

Im surpiresed there hasent been any comercials for xbox 360 or the games yet....guess to many people know about it as it is so they dont really need to advertise?

i was wondering, how many of you think that 360 will be impossible to find in a retail store like a week after release? im going away for a week and was going to buy it when i came back but i was told i wont find them anywhere...so i was guna preorder it but then i dont think they will hold it for me for a week, and i dont want friends to pick it up for me because i wana play my 360 first!!! :D
No chance. if you havnt preordered it yet then even if you do you wont get it the first week it's out.
off topic, but i was at EB today and they had the limited edition metal cases for Perfect dark zero on display and they looked awesome. I want one.

regarding the Q's about the games being released early, I think it's true now, games will be out about a wk before the console...
If you can preorder still, I wouldn't be surprised if you could still get it on the 22nd from some stores. There's some stories about 360 shortages, but not 100% certain.

I dont know how thesethings work exactly but id say at least a month?
I remeber i wanted a ps2 years back and this was way after it was released and i couldnt find one anywhere. i had to settle for an xbox because every store had one. Boy and i glad they were out of PS2's though.

eb/futureshop/bestbuy and all other stores in canada are rougly getting 60-80 units per store..about a 1-4 week wait period..some games will be out before the system but stores along with ms have stated they may just launch everything on the 22 making it easier on everyone...

A hint, try your local blockbuster, i know we only got 2 preorders... and we are alos presale a lot of the games, you have to pay for the console in full but the games you can put as low as 5 bucks to make sure you have a copy there... the system itself is 499, or 599 if you want the blockbuster combo.. you get an extra controller and battery pack, lol im not to sure what it has in it.... just to let you all know

that problely would be the best idea or get one of them bundles that come with the games i think futureshop has one with perfect dark and project gotham 3

i was at eb today they stated they are only getting 43 units per store where some stores in the city may get more..i was 22 out of 123 in my town for a 360 so i was lucky..if u don't preoder one u might not see them till xmas or later along with all games/hardware theres already a shortage..they told me preoders only and what evers left they will sell off..ea games there will be tons to go around as ea has mass produced there titles..so can u say ebay.ca for a sale..lol
