ok maybe I'm not doing something I should be but usually I see posts below the shout line in the box.
Now when I type, hit the enter button it simply disappears and there is no dialogue at all. Is there something else one needs to click to see the posts? :vxd:

Ok, I'm not sure why but I'm sure that tonight or tomorrow Deb will see this and have a look at it.
There is a link in my signature for the shoutbox.
Try to use that till the regular one gets fixed.
You will have to manually refresh the page.

Rusty, is that vBportal Demo, or is it Legacy?
They both look the same, but Legacy is the one of the two that works properly.

It is Legacy.
I am having some difficulty with the connection though, seems slow and sluggish tonight.
Going to try other pages to see how it loads. Tks all

It's here!
have the same trouble. Only topaz or ruby works. I have the latest java installed, maybe that's it.

Troubles started after the crash

I found the same Rusty and switched to Topaz as Tim mentioned. I was wondering about the java too Tim but didn't have that problem before the crash.

Thats why I am stubborn when it comes to updates. If its working fine, dont mess with it. :hst:

Doesn't use java , it is php and a iframe .. seems ok at this end .. we will check into it
I didn't think so, but oddly enough it worked before I upped to the latest java. My G5 with old java works fine.
Java evil maybe.
just a diversion. :)

I don't see how updating Java would affect it since it doesn't use Java :rrg:
It seems that the shoutbox not auto refreshing only started for some after it went down on Saturday night... Sunday some were saying they had issues.
I'm using Legacy theme in Netscape 7.2, and 8, as well as in IE6 with all updates and it works fine in all of them. :vxd:
