I am looking to install Windows 7. I just don't know which version to install the 32 bit or 64 bit version? Right now I am running windows xp 32 bit.
I ran the Windows 7 advisor and it gave me info for both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of windows 7.

Yeah, I don't see any reason not to go 64 bit. Unless you have a really old computer or some really weird and rare peripherals you should have drivers for everything. Although if that's the case then Windows 7 probably wouldn't run anyway.

I run 32 bit on one puter and 64 on another puter,64 bit will show your ram over 4 gig where as 32 will not but make sure your cpu will handle 64 before you go that root

Not only show, but utilize more than 3.5gigs of ram. 32bit has a limitation of up to 3.5gigs.

The 32 bit ram limitation isn't really that big of a deal , is it ? I mean how many people actually use that much ram in the first place ? What would use that much ram ?

Not only that but don't forget that Windows preloads the most used applications into RAM so the more you have the more it can load into there making your load times faster.

I have 4gigs...
Some days it seems It's still not fast enough.
The quad core helps too :)

Even 1Gb is more than sufficient for most users, unless they're running vista, spyware, or norton internet security.

Isn't that most people? Why are you bringing up bloatware, do you know what that is?
