I did a fresh install of Windows 7 on my Acer Extensa 4120 and it runs fine now the other day i went and put it back to Vista 64 and it will not reconize my wireless now the wireless works great with Windows 7 but then the Bluetooth is not reconized at all Both were working fine before install of Windows 7
So to tally it up
#1-the wireless is not reconized at all in Vista 64 bit
#2-And the Bluetooth is not reconized in the Windows 7

Any help would be aprecated thanks

Were you able to get the driver installed?

Remember that you need 64 bit drivers for a 64 bit OS

Ok, so the Windows 7 versions are 32 bit an the Vista Home Basic is 32 bit and you tried installing Windows 7 64 bit.

It sounds like there are some really specific drivers for those devices that aren't included in the normal installs of Vista or 7.

For the issue with 7 I would see if you could find the Vista version of those drivers, they *should* work. As for Vista x64, you'll just need to search around and see if you can find x64 drivers.
