With the board going down , seems a post got corrupted .. so going to our back ups means a lot of threads and hacks that inter link won't go back up.

So we get a board back up with un repairable problems or we save the users files and start from scratch. The threads from previous will be put in to a archive this week and go from there.

As far as I understand, Les and Deb have quit for the day but there are still many things that may be able to be saved. time will tell. They have been sleeping on the couch to get things where they are now. Its a patience thing on members to just enjoy what we do have. Server issues can be difficult to diagnose sometimes.

Just out of curiosity...Is the server co-located? or is it hosted somewhere?

What do you guys use to backup?

If its colocated, what kind of hardware is the server using?
