Just wondered if anyones having problems sending/recieveing mail on rogers in the london area ?

Its taking a long time to send and recieve mail between co workers and I have sent files out to other companies and they aren't recieving them.

I just tested mine, including a 2meg file attachment, and it's working just fine.

What are you using for your settings? pop.broadband.rogers.com and smtp.broadband.rogers.com

not sure, Im at home now and that was at work. I just loged on to the yahoo rogers site and I still havent got mail that I was told was coming to me, so not sure whats going on with our rogers. It took close to 1 hr for mail to get from me to a co worker in the office on the same network.

I will check the settings tomorrow at work in the morning and see if it works yet.

Well as much as mine seemed to be working fine, this evening I received 3 e-mails that were sent yesterday evening, this morning and afternoon... yet I was getting everything else normally...
Everything was from outside the Rogers network too :rrg:

I have the experience of e-mails within the Rogers system taking a long time as well.

Just checked and thats the settings im using other then :25 after the smtp one.


I did get the mail i was looking for lastnight, this morning when i got here. Just took a few hrs to get here.

Yes I was having problems sending mail on Rogers yesterday aswell...I'm in the East end so it could have been this area unless you're in another area of the city then there goes that theory out the window :)

No prob's here, send and receive works quickly here in the south end. ( Sent the wife a nasty pic' and she got it on the laptop almost immediately ) :) In fact so fast I barely had time to duck the pillow ... you know airbourne at high velocity and the back of my head as the target!

Like I said before, it seemed to to be working fine... everything seemed to be normal... until I got 3 very late messages last night.

So I guess there is a network issue... some mail is getting through, and some isn't... and it's nothing wrong from your end MiniMike ;)

Im almost out in lambeth so there goes that theory. I'm on business account if that matters too.

Yea not sure whats up, some come in really fast others take up to 1hr. at least they are getting thru today, got a bunch this morning from yesterday.
