What are some of the capabilities of blue tooth dongles?
Basically I bought a cheap one to transfer data to and from my phone and it works as it should.
I was attempting to connect my bluetooth head set "Motorola H560" which is detected but there does not appear to be any valid drivers out there that would allow me to use my headset as a stereo or mic.
Would a blue tooth dongle essentialy make any of my devices with a USB input "Blue tooth capable" assuming there were Windows 7 Drivers for it?
I've read about bluetooth stacks and have tried Broadcom and Toshiba stacks. I could not find a Motorola stack, if there is one please let me know where I can download it. The Toshiba stack appeared to have installed the correct drivers but I was unable to get any input or output from the bluetooth headset. THe broadcom had a setup to connect a bluetooth device but it never detected the bluetooth headset.
Can someone enlighten me about the capabilities of blue tooth dongles? Thank you for your time.
