View Full Version : Fan Controllers?

Hello, I built a new computer recently and I've noticed that the case fans are a bit too noisy for my bed room (when I'm not playing games on it).
The case: http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx?C=1390&ID=1835 Thermaltake V9 Black Edition

I was looking at the NXZT Sentry 2 controller as it has support for the 4-pin Molex Connectors (which is the only things this case has). I do not need to control the CPU fan or GPU fan as my motherboard and graphics card seem to have a good handle on it (and is very quiet).

I'm guessing its fine to stick the probes on the heat sinks of the CPU & GPU and one on my hard drive, but would it be best to have the top fan probe linked to the CPU or GPU temp and the side fan to the GPU as well and just leave the rear to the CPU?

Any suggestions/comments? Should I look into different controllers?

Thanks in advance
