I got rid of Ccleaner. This one does a much better job. 35 Million "peeps" can't be wrong... or can they? :ujd:
Seriously, you should really try it before you talk about something you obviously know nothing about. Judging a piece of software on a typo. :akq:
Everything is OK here BTW. Besides if it is as you say, there will be more customers for the Computer Mechanics. That's a pretty good market share.

Cnet and users rate it 4/5. http://download.cnet.com/Advanced-SystemCare-Free/3000-2086_4-10407614.html
Look near the bottom of the page and you will see Advanced SystemCare far exceeds CCleaner for downloads.

I try this software out on a test computer and I notice it change the setting on my desktop effects from standard to clear type , who knows whatever else it has removed or changed, no thanks . I will stick without using any registry cleaners .

I use AdvancedSystemCare and it works great. Also use CCleaner. Haven't noticed any changes to my system settings, etc., since I installed it awhile ago.

To each its own bud ... Really with XP you don't need any registry cleaner . Windows does it on its own but if you like to , go for it :)

To each its own bud ... Really with XP you don't need any registry cleaner . Windows does it on its own but if you like to , go for it :)Sounds like you have a lot of blind faith with MS. There are always - always - registry errors found in XP. Mostly minor, but still there. I just worked on a friend's computer a week ago and there were 775 registry errors in his XP laptop. Another one, an XP desktop, 2 weeks ago, had just under 1000 registry errors reported and then fixed.
I seem to have serious slowdown on both home office computers running XP. Hard drive use is not over 50% of capacity. I have run Ccleaner, ACS, Superantispyware but with no improvement in speed. I have AVG free running every evening. Is there anything else I should be doing? Maybe I should start with an objective measure of performance rather than just gut feel?
