Okay - bought a new laptop specifically with 7 professional to make use of XP mode. Have a couple older progams I need to run for my work. I downloaded/installed everything in the order the microsoft site indicated. And then proceded to load the first app in XP mode - Visual Basic 6 (dont ask why). ALL SEEMED TO WORK OK - But now - I have attempted to load other apps
(an older version old SPSS if you are familiar) and it does not seem to load in XP mode but in the physical environment instead.
Was installed from full screen window of XP mode - but installed in pyhsical environment - and when I lanuch is it does not launch XP mode.
I can still enter XP mode - and when I launch VB6 it starts XP MODE (seemless) but usually gives some logging error - but does launch. But the SPSS app it does not - also - when in XP mode I want to add start icon to dektop - they get added ONLY in physical enviroment - not in XP mode.
The only app under all programs>microsoft virtual pc> is the VB6 app NOT SPSS even though that is where I installed it?
