Having been a huge GnR fan when I was younger, and learning to play the guitar mainly because of Slash and his crazy solos, I was shocked when my friend told me he had a new album out.

I know he did things after GnR like hooking up with the stone temple pilots guy but that wasnt all that great and Axl'es album sucked , so I was skeptical when i heard of Slash's new self titled album.

So far though I'm very impressed though. From what I have heard so far it has some great tunes. Fergie is on two tracks and I really never liked Fergie, but she sounds great on this album.

The album has a bunch of guests on it from Iggy Pop to Ozzie Osbourne
