So I fire up my PC today and first thing I know is my video games are not opening, I'm getting weird random errors. So then I surf the net for about an hour and then my internet shuts down saying its not sure why, some kind of error. After this I could not open my firefox or internet explorer. So I restart my computer and this time around its worse. Basically no program will open due to some kind of error. At this point I decide to do a system restore to 3 days previous. So I do that and it got worse. Now I can only log into my Guest account (thank god I kept it on) if I login too my main account the system will just freeze. Problem is when I login into the Guest or even if I leave my PC on the Welcome screen within 15 minutues times, I get the Blue Screen of death pop up for about 2 seconds then the computer just shuts down. So right now I'm at a complete loss of idea what I should do or what the problem is. Any solutions will appreciated

See if you can uninstall it, Control Panel > Uninstall a Program > view installed updates >

Might be too late to Uninstall after doing a System Restore.
Two suggestions
1 : Some of these problems are related to the Antivirus program used conflicting with the update. You could try in safe mode uninstalling the antivirus and see if it boots. Don't forget to reinstall an antivirus afterwards.
2: This is more technical and might work.
Also in Safe mode.
Stop the windows update service and
Delete everything inside "C:\windows\SoftwareDistribution\"
Restart the service

I had this same problem on my new Windows 7 computer. Actually, I think I managed to download a computer virus the first day I had it. None of my .exe files would run. I ended up restoring my computer to the "manufacturer's default settings" and now it works fine. I would recommend having Eset Nod32 antivirus and Emsisoft anti-malware running on your computer before you go online. that seems to be working for me. Good luck. I doubt that your problem was actually due to an update.
