A lot of old TCM members may remember Joe Gronlund. Brilliant, funny and a huge pain in the neck at times. Joe passed away a few days ago.

Age is often not a transparent factor online, but 36 is way too young.

Definitely a legend in his own time and if there is tech support in heaven, batten down the hatches. :)

He used his own name, Joe Gronlund, and you wont find it in a search, it was way before the crash. Pre 2003.

36. Very unfair. Nothing you can say right except go with God. :(

I think I came abord around the year 2000. There was a young guy who helped a lot with computer problems, he was really nice guy, and one day he told us he is leaving TCM, is he that guy??

I'm sad to hear this.

When he started his own support/community site after leaving here he had a few prize giveaways. I won a Microsoft headset. Those were good times.
