Hey, I'm planning to make a spur of the moment day trip to Toronto tomorrow (from Brantford, via bus) to get a new sword.
Anyone know shops in chinatown that'd have them? Not fantasy swords or anything but quality swords for martial arts. Need to replace both my wooden and metal ones *again*.

And of course if anyone wanted to take me on a tour to find places with them I'd be happy to pay for lunch/gas!

Will do.
Found out about something I've been waiting for just came out, so I'm all stoked and busy with that ATM.

I would buy the sword online, but you gotta be there to feel the balance and all that stuff, just can't do it online.

Try CKT Martial arts on Yonge. But If you are looking for a bokken or jo, try the Chinese "gift shop" across the street and down allittle. (South side). They neg for cash and I got a good quality subrito from them.

Looks like it'll have to wait 'til Tuesday instead.
Building plans at the last minute doesn't always work out unfortunately.

Anyhow, is there a main area where I'll be able to find all them? I'm very unfamiliar with Toronto, so I don't really know where chinatown is (other then a vague description on a "places to see" map online).

Generally it's Elizabeth and Dundas W, but is has grown.
