Microsoft Update is Here A while back, we told you that Microsoft was planning a new service called Microsoft Update. It's available now and it gives you all the operating system updates you get with the Windows Update service, but also includes updates for Microsoft Office and other Microsoft applications. If you're running Microsoft apps, you should upgrade from Windows Update (built into XP) to the new Microsoft Update. You can read more about it and install it from the TechNet Web site:
